Alongside playing the demo of Mega Man: Dual Override at gamescom, I also had the privilege of interviewing Dual Override director Shinya Ikuta, Mega Man series producer Shingo Izumi, and Dual Override producer Hiroyuki Minamitani. With the help of an interpreter, I asked them about why now was the right time to bring Mega Man back, the meaning of the subtitle, the new “chip” system and more.
